Instructions to get WICShare Access:
The following steps must be completed, in stated order, to obtain access to WICShare.
  1. Confirm that your local project director approves your WICShare access.
  2. Register for a WI Logon Management System (WILMS) account - also referred to as a State /DOA account.
    1. Skip all of step 2 if you already have a WILMS ID
    2. You will create a WILMS User ID and Password as part of this process.
    3. Your password will never change or expire.
    4. Your password can get locked if entered incorrectly more than three times.
  3. Ask your local project director to email DHSWICShare@wisconsin.gov so that they may approve your request for access.
  4. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the State office once your access to WICShare has been granted.

NOTE TO PROJECT DIRECTORS: Please notify WICShare Administrators when someone you approved no longer needs access to WICShare (e.g., employee leaves job).
Instructions for logging into WICShare:
  1. This is the link to WICShare:
    https://share.health.wisconsin.gov/ph/wic/SitePages/Home.aspx
    1. You must put "WIEXT\" in front of your WILMS User ID. (Ex: if your WILMS User ID = smithm, you would enter WIEXT\smithm.)
    2. Internet Explorer 32 bit is the preferred browser for WICShare.
    3. You can use Mozilla Firefox, but you might be prompted more often to enter your password or have trouble opening Word docs.
  2. Save WICShare as a favorite and/or as a link on your desktop.
WICShare Login Trouble-shooting:
  1. Sometimes your User ID is already filled in for you. If this happens:
    1. Make sure what is already there matches your WILMS User ID exactly (e.g., WIEXT\smithm).
    2. If not an exact match, click button "Use another account" located under the password box before entering any information.
    3. If that didn't fix your login problem, you may have to delete Internet browser temp/history/cookies before you can log in again.
WICShare Account Recovery:
  1. Go to WILMS Account Recovery page if you forget or have trouble using your User ID /Password.
  2. You may also e-mail the WILMS Helpdesk directly if you are having trouble using the Account Recovery process.
